Created by J. Fergus Evans

Commissioned by Contact Theatre

‘I was totally unprepared for how moved I would feel by this installation – you completely captured both visually and verbally the aching hole that loss creates.’ // PREVIOUS PARTICIPANT

A spoken word installation for one person at a time created as part of Contact’s At Home artists in residence scheme. Using over 1000 donated sympathy cards strung over 3 miles of twine, Fergus has created a forest to get lost in and a space to remember those we miss. [IN] MEMORIAM is dedicated to Fergus’s father, who died unexpectedly in 1996.
